Accounting Startup Package – “Launch & Grow”

  • Basic Startup Package: R2,200 – R3,500 once-off (or R1,800 – R2,500/month for the first 3–6 months)
  • Standard Startup Package (most popular): R3,500 – R5,500 once-off + optional monthly support at R1,500 – R2,800/month

What’s Included in the Startup Package

1. Setup Phase (One-Time)

  • Company / NPO registration support (CIPC guidance + basic documents)
  • Choice and setup of accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage Accounting, or free/basic options like Wave)
  • Custom Chart of Accounts (tailored for donations, grants, program expenses, admin costs, and fundraising)
  • Bank & credit card account setup and integration
  • Initial data migration (if existing records exist)
  • Donor / Grant tracking categories setup (very useful for nonprofits)

2. Bookkeeping & Compliance

  • Monthly bookkeeping & bank reconciliations (up to 100–150 transactions/month)
  • Income & expense tracking
  • VAT registration assistance + monthly/ bi-monthly VAT returns (if applicable)
  • Payroll setup (if you have 1–5 staff or volunteers with stipends)
  • Basic management reports: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow summary

3. Tax & Reporting

  • Preparation for annual tax return (ITR14 or ITR12)
  • SARS eFiling setup and basic tax compliance guidance
  • Donor receipt templates and basic grant reporting format
  • Financial policies & procedures document (internal controls for nonprofits)

4. Bonus Support (Value-Add)

  • 1–2 strategy sessions (1 hour each) – budget planning, funding readiness, or cost control tips
  • Training on how to use the accounting software (1-hour session)
